Beltway Driving Academy is pleased to offer MDOT-MVA approved Online Driver Education courses. This new service offers the Classroom portion of the 36 Hour Driver Education Program; Safe & Sober Program and Adult Driver Improvement Program.

This option allows our students to continue to gain knowledge and use the MDOT MVA-approved curriculum, Power Point presentations, including all embedded videos in a distance learning format.

Classroom topics include basic driving techniques, defensive driving, rules of the road, effects of alcohol while driving and driving in various environments.

To pass the classroom portion of the driver education course, students must attend all 30 hours of class; participate in class activities and score a minimum of 80% on the final exam.

Our online courses are designed to use Zoom video conferencing for the instructor lead “Virtual Classroom” lecture and classroom activities. Using Zoom video conferencing, our instructors will have the ability to visually interact with our student body in real-time.
